Scholarship Opportunity 2009
Here’s a great opportunity for you. $500 Scholarship
Attention All Public Administration Undergraduate and Graduate Students!!! Public Administration students at California State University Dominguez Hills are urged to apply for the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society’s Scholarship Award. Eligibility: Applicants must be at least half-time students, completed a minimum of 12 units at Dominguez Hills and majoring in Public Administration or Criminal Justice. Students must have an overall GPA of 3.0. Applicants must have at least one semester of courses remaining. The winner must attend the Honor’s Reception held in April to receive scholarship check. You do not need to be a Pi Alpha Alpha member to apply. Application Procedure: Applicants must complete the information below, attach a copy of their transcripts (unofficial is okay), and write a 1½ -2 page paper answering the question below. Answers must be typed, double-spaced; 12-point Times New Roman font, using 1-inch margins, and pages should be one-sided only. The deadline is 5 p.m. March 31, 2009. All submissions should be submitted to Mr. Theodore Byrne via the public administration department in SBS D311. This year's topic is, "What is the biggest problem facing the United States today?"
