Entertainment Career Expo & Internship Fair at HDC on May 25 The Los Angeles Galaxy and Anschutz Entertainment Group will host a career expo and internship fair at The Home Depot Center on Wednesday, May 25 at 5 p.m. for those interested in a career in the sports and entertainment industry. An L.A. Galaxy soccer match will follow the fair, included in the $20 entry fee ($16 for current students). The fair will provide opportunities to meet with representatives of various companies to learn about job and internship opportunities and to get their input on what it takes to break into and succeed in the competitive sports and entertainment industries. In addition to networking with representatives from the participating organizations, the event will include · An address by Michael Hitchcock, Vice President of Sales for the Los Angeles Galaxy · An overview of useful resources for continuing job and internship searches · A complimentary one-week subscription to WorkInSports.com · Door prizes · A seat for the L.A. Galaxy's Major League Soccer match that evening (kick-off at 7:30 pm vs. the Columbus Crew) · A chance to be upgraded to the President and GM's Luxury Suite for the match · A list of participating organizations and contacts Cost is $20 per person (discounted student price is $16 per person). The first 25 people to register with at least one other person will be upgraded to Reserved Sideline game seats – an additional value of $40 per person.
