New CSUDH Professor Publishes Book with Nobel Laureate
For professors, publishing with a Nobel Laureate is like working on a media
merger with Rupert Murdoch or a real estate deal with Donald Trump. Tayyeb
Shabbir, associate professor of finance, had such an opportunity developing
and editing a scholarly book with Nobel Laureate Lawrence Klein while at the

Dheeriya Predicts Rash of Foreclosures
Nightly news reports and headlines across the country are
full of new findings on a massive spike in the number of foreclosures in the
housing market. Professor of Accounting and Finance
Prakash Dheeriya
predicted just such a trend a few months ago in a "10 Questions" featured in
the October 2006
issue of The Report. Read the story
to find out what else he had to say about the next few years in the real estate
market.
