Appointments to meet with an Advisor
Appointments are required for undergraduate and post-baccalaureate continuing students in Accounting, Information Systems and Marketing certificate programs, who need consultation with an Advisor. You can schedule an appointment if you want major or minor advisement or if you are a newly admitted student to CSUDH and have attended a group advising session and need to see an advisor for consultation. CBAPP Undergraduate Advisement and Student Service Center
Appointments are required
Hours:
Mondays through Thursdays, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Fridays, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Final appointments to meet with an Advisor are one hour prior to closing.
Advisory Notes:
1) During registration periods, the demand to see an advisor is very high. Because of this, the CBAPP Advisement and Student Service Center becomes very busy and waits can be long. We advise students to arrive at least fifteen minutes before the scheduled appointment.
2) We advise students to plan ahead and visit the CBAPP Advisement and Student Service Center three to five weeks before registration begins to avoid the long waits.
3) Your Advisor will focus on the requirements of your major or minor only. Therefore, students should meet with an Advisor in the University Advisement Center first to have general education requirements checked, before meeting with the CBAPP Advisor. The University Advisement Center is located in room WH A-220. The telephone number is (310) 243-3538. No appointment is necessary. For further information, refer to the following website:
