Apply for the Krushkhov Memorial Scholarship
Public Administration students with career goals or research interests in municipal administration, urban planning, or current urban issues are invited to apply for the Krushkhov Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship award is $500. The award will be based on financial need, academic performance, and career goals or research interests in urban studies.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students in Public Administration attending the university at least halftime and planning to attend at least one semester in the 2009-2010 academic year.
Application Procedure:
A student may apply for the Krushkhov Scholarship by completing the application form supplied by the Public Administration department. To be considered for the Krushkhov scholarship, the student needs to write a brief essay about financial need and about his/her interests in urban and municipal issues and his/her career goals. Application and essay may be sent electronically to Dr. Elena Kulikov at ekulikov@csudh.edu
Deadline:
All applications must be received in the office of the Public Administration Department by Thursday, March 19, 2009. A decision will be made and the recipient will be notified by April 3, 2009. The selected student must attend the Public Administration Honors Banquet on Friday, April 17, 2009.
