The Institute for Entrepreneurship, Small Business Development and Global Logistics in the College of Business Administration and Public Policy (CBAPP) at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) is very pleased to announce the Fourth Annual Business Plan Competition for the CSUDH campus.
The purpose of the contest is to publicize the importance of entrepreneurship to our economy and society and encourage the development of aspiring student entrepreneurs through a hands-on activity that includes the risks and rewards inherent in business practice. Student Teams will compete on the basis of abstracts, business plans, and oral presentations, evaluated by a distinguished panel of entrepreneurs and professionals. The top team will receive, in addition to a cash award, the services referred to in the beginning of this announcement and other winners will receive cash awards to motivate them to begin the process of commercializing their business plan but can be used at their discretion.
The contest gives students an in-depth participation in the entrepreneurial process including developing a business plan and the opportunity to earn a cash award for their team or even start the development of their idea.
If you have additional questions regarding the competition please contact Dr. David Hoopes at dhoopes@csudh.edu
